Known for his ability to match up against top wide receivers, compete at the catch point, and make plays all over the field. He’s a quickly established himself as one of the top cornerbacks in the Lone Star State. Michigan fans have plenty of reasons to be excited about Blake’s future in Ann Arbor.
And today, we’ll learn more about his journey, his decision to commit to the Wolverines, and what he hopes to accomplish in his high school career and beyond. Please welcome Michigan cornerback commit Blake Jenkins. Blake, how’s it going, man? I’m doing good. How you doing? Hey, I I can’t complain, man. I’m feeling good. Yes, sir. You are uh you’re currently in off in your off seasonason. What are you doing right now for offseason? For offseason, I’m just working out, heading up to the school, doing offseason workouts, training with my trainer, Jakori, you know, just trying to stay in shape. Just keep just keep working. It’s just working. Uh finally committed to Michigan. That’s that that was a great thing.
So, I’m just trying to stay consistent, you know, no more stress of being recruited. like, you know, so much people calling me. I got more time. I can just chill now. And I got my official visit heading up this weekend. So, just chilling and just working out. No, that’s awesome, man. I You know, it’s funny. I watched your commitment video live and uh Yeah. Yeah, man. Listen, we we follow you guys, man. So, we watched it live and um it was awesome to see that you had the the the opportunity to share that with your your parents. Talk to me about that experience and how that went down.
That was very like nerve-wracking because like for me I feel like I don’t I don’t really like I feel like till now like I don’t really get the recruitment process. You know you see so many things happening throughout like people getting offers younger people getting offers now but you know I started getting offers like maybe this year obviously junior season I started getting offers and you know that caught me by surprise but like it’s just so quick you know just for sure like we just had a good junior season the process really quick. So during that season, I got all my offers. Had like 49 offers. That’s very nerve-wracking, but you know, I had to pick one. That was really hard.
So for sure, Michigan checked out all the boxes, you know, education, off the field, on the field, it was great. And I want to major in sports like management. So I was like, it was like top three in the nation. And I was like preferred like education wise, obviously, this is one. And for my top six, I had all good schools that were like, you know, really high like you know, education like in class. I had Dandy, I had Michigan, I had Dang, I had a lot I had Dandy, Michigan, I had SMU, like good schools that in-class schools that were like really like, you know, prestigious school. So, Michigan separated it cuz like it’s a high it’s for football like it’s Michigan.
You can’t really do much like you can’t really say much. It’s Michigan football and it’s great academic. So, it was easy, really easy. And that was one of my later offers, too. That’s what made it hard. Michigan was my like it’s my 40th offer. So, it was really hard. Okay. So they So Michigan kind of came in uh well I mean you got like 40 something offers your junior year. So but Michigan came kind of in on the tail end. And who was uh who offered who offered you uh which is this is so weird. This is a really weird thing. And this probably the only school and there’s like two weird things about it. This is probably the only school I thought I got a fake offer from.
I thought it was fake. And I I haven’t told anyone this. probably the first place I thought the offer was fake cuz me and um JG we were talking right because I think he just came from BYU if I’m am I wrong or right that staff that came from Utah or BYU and I was talking to him he was at BYU and we were just like he text he followed me and I was like yo texting him yo how you doing got his number I’m thinking I’m about to get a BYU offer you know cuz at this time I had like four had like 39 at this time I was just getting offers I was like okay I’m about to get BYU offer but no he had moved Michigan.
He’s supposed to visit me, but when it rains here, it’s like a hurricane, so you can’t come in here. You probably know that when it rains in Houston or snows, when it gets cold, you can’t come here. So, he couldn’t come here. I was like, “Dang, I really wanted a Michigan offer.” But boom, that happens. Like, maybe a month later, I get a call from JC, Jonathan Carter. And I’m like, yo, he’s not even a position coach. He just got like there’s no way he called me and offered me. I told my mom. She was like, “It’s fake. The offer is fake. There’s no way. this this offer is fake.
Like I don’t I don’t know how to give it to you cuz I think at the time they were just getting their staff hires and I guess they were giving out like I don’t know that was like a rumor but they were giving out fake offers at the time. My mom was like it’s fake. I was like why? So then we searched up JC. JC’s name didn’t come up. So we were like oh I did just get a fake offer. So I’m telling all my friends I’m like I really just got a fake offer. So then I had to call him do I didn’t get offered for like two more days. I had to call him like did I get a real offer?
He was like yeah you got a offer. So, I was like, “Damn, that’s my offer.” And how did that feel once you confirmed it was a real offer? For me, I’m I’m gonna be I’mma be absolutely transparent. [clears throat] I like I know a lot about football, but like being from the south and you you can say because you’re from Louisiana, you don’t know much about stuff from the north. So, Michigan obviously it’s a big school. I knew that. But I had a lot of other big schools in Texas and I’m a Texas kid. You know, I’m going to be biased towards those schools obviously. Like, it’s Texas. I grew up watching Texas, you know, like Vince Vinc like what are we talking about?
Like those are those are legendary schools. So when I got the offer, I was like I got offer like I had like 40 I had like my 40 I’m like okay that’s cool. But then I start maturing like my 45th offer I was like all these offers is cool but when am I going to find a home? You know what I mean? Like I had to mature and be like okay let me be for real.
So, how I broke it down again, like schooling and football, like that was a very good major thing for my parents also to pick made me feel comfortable cuz I can go to I can go I’m not trying to put names in there to Ole Miss or Alabama and be like, “Okay, I’m playing football, you know, like I can easily go to those schools, but what separates me from being somewhere outside of football.” And I found that out really soon when I went to go visit Michigan, I was like, “This it’s nice.” Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s different. Yeah.
It’s funny because again me being from Louisiana um and [clears throat] when I got recruited I didn’t know anything about schools up north as well because you know when you grew up in SEC country it’s Florida it’s Tennessee it’s you know it’s LSU even though LSU at the time back then when I played was absolutely terrible but we didn’t hear anything about schools up up north and um so you know when I got my Michigan offer I didn’t know anything about about Michigan fortunately for me my recruiter was from Louisiana and he was also the running back coach. So when he came down to recruit me, that’s kind of like where my education started to um broaden about Michigan.
And then the first Michigan football game I watched um they played in the Holiday Bowl against North North Carolina State or something. And when I saw those winged helmets for the first time, I was I was hooked. I had offers from Alabama. I had off Florida. I took my visit to Florida. I took a visit to uh Tennessee, Notre Dame, UCLA, and Michigan. Those were my top five my top five schools. And for me, kind of like what you’re saying, for Michigan was the only school that talked about education on the visit. And for me, I always knew that at some point, I guess I was probably mature for my age. At some point, football was going to be over, right? Sports was going to be over.
And when Michigan started talking about the 600,000 active alumni, for me that was kind of like, man, no matter what, I’m always going to run into someone who went to the University of Michigan. Now, I don’t know if you had that experience yet, but you I’m you’ll be like all of a sudden you’ll see go blue and Block M everywhere when you weren’t really even looking for it. You know what’s so weird? I feel like that’s like a mentality. You ever get like a new card and you keep seeing it? Yeah, it’s like that. So, I just come into Michigan. I just came out from LA and randomly, I don’t know. Maybe because I’ve been looking. Maybe because I’ve been looking.
But I did like see people with like um like uh the blue uh the blue hats like the um Michigan stuff on. You know me like I just committed there. I’m yo go blue. They ain’t yellow back. It was in the airport. It was lady. I said go blue. She ain’t yell back. I was like I’m shocked. I’m shocked. We got basketball shirt too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s it’s um you know it’s it’s different man. It’s uh you know there are a lot of great schools out there but when you talk about being able to combine tradition uh football education it’s it’s very few schools that kind of check all the box and on top of being able to develop you to get you to the next level.
But I want to go back to early Blake. When did you start playing football? I started playing football I I couldn’t put an age on it. I grew up as a Saints fan sadly, but I grew up as a Saints fan when I was like I don’t want to put I’m not really good ages because I see videos like four to five. I remember there’s a video of me and um my old house and I had like a helmet on. It’s still up there. I got a Saints helmet and it’s um me with a Drew Brees jersey on when he was that guy and I was just running around with a and I feel like that’s probably the first memory that I remember me having a football in my hand.
Then my dad played [clears throat] basketball. None of my none of my parents really influenced football on me, but like I’m from Texas, so like you know like Texas that’s the best football state. Like you can argue maybe Florida got it maybe, but Texas Florida that’s that’s that’s a powerhouse of football. My mom’s from the Texas panhandle. So like that like my athletic like abilities I think I get it from her side. All her family played football, so I was like, “Yeah, that’s probably why.” But I don’t know. I just I just like the dynamics of football like all all around. And I feel like it’s like life. Like when you in the game like it’s anything. It could be anything.
Like you hurting, something going bad, it’s on to the next play, on to the next day. Like some something could happen bad in your life and you need something to, you know, overcome it. It’s like a football game. I just like sports too in general. I’m a big fan of sports. Now, did you play multiple sports or football just Yeah. When I was younger, obviously like I feel like everyone everyone puts their kids in multiple sports, you know, soccer, I play soccer, football, baseball, and then that’s when I really decided committed to playing basketball and football. I cut it off. So then, funny story, I’m going just skip into like elementary. Elementary played football. I was I was that guy. Little League, I was that guy. I gonna lie.
Little League play basketball. I was all right. I was really aggressive. And that’s that’s signs of being a football player. And I remember I must skip to like sixth grade. I play basketball and football and so so weird. It’s a coincidence. My basketball team from like little lee ended up being really like so good. We ended up having a AAU team, right? So AAU team, right? We’re all right. We’re winning tournaments, right? So boom. Let’s skip two years because I don’t want to go through all of it. We’re going to skip two years. Great AAU. We end up one of his like one of the like the best player his uncle is N. I don’t know if you know who N is. He’s NBA player. Oh yeah. Yeah.
I know what you’re talking about. Yeah. Long hair. Denver. Denver. um Nuggets, right? So, he he owns his own team. It’s called N Elite. We end up playing a month of tournaments. We’re like the best team in Houston. We’re only losing the Houston hoops and um blue chips and we’re just we’re just like we win a lot. We’re winning a lot of tournaments. So, we end up being these Houston hoops to EBL team. So, I’m playing literally like junior May hoops. Like, I’m literally a basketball phenom. I’m so like this. No one will believe me if I say this, but it’s eighth grade, you know, eighth grade. Then ninth grade, that’s my last year of AU cuz I feel like in ninth grade, I just lost passion for the game.
I wasn’t really that good. I was like a bench pro is a very high circuit. Like we’re playing future NBA players like right who I play that’s really good. Ace, you know, Ace the one that just committed to Michigan. He’s a really good basketball. I don’t know if you knew that, but he played basketball. Oh, I didn’t know that. He’s really good. He has offers in basketball actually. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know you talking about we were he used to beat me all the time. His team you could he blue chips. He they were like that. Beat me all the time. That man’s big. And I remember it’s probably my last time playing. What was it? I think it was him. One of my last years.
It was him. We play we play um golf coast blue chess. That’s what it was called at the time. Man, it was like this little play that had to beat the two three, right? So, you know, I’m the top two. I’m I’m the defensive guy. I’m sliding to get him, right? So, I got to get over. No one call scream. You got a big polar bear just doing this to setting the screen. I I can’t remember when I got up. I got benched the That’s probably my last year I played AAU basketball. I quit that year. Ninth grade year went straight to football. Not not ninth grade year. Went to straight to football. I didn’t even play DD till freshman year, but like I wasn’t really good. I started training.
I was all right. Sophomore year I got injured. I didn’t even play. So this is my first year playing DB full year. Wow. So this is your first year playing DB full year? Yeah. full full in my first varsity season. I only played three games when I got hurt. I broke my elbow. I got like a whole surgery, everything. I broke my elbow. See, it was bad. Wow. That’s uh that’s incredible, man, that you made that big of a a leap in one year and to have the year that you had to start now getting recruited to being seen as one of the top DBs in the country, especially in Texas because you play 6A ball, right? Yes. 6A division two, division one. Yeah.
6A is uh for people that don’t know 6A football is is no joke. But 6A football in Texas, like 6,000 kids. It’s like 6,000. It’s even crazy. Yeah. It’s it’s it’s wild. Let’s talk about your junior year, man, because that seems like the year that like everything that just kind of took off like you just got locked in and just seemed like all of a sudden it was like you were on everybody’s radar. Uh talk about that progression. like what was your what was the biggest contributor for you making that big jump in your junior year? It’s a great question. I’m ask how to answer this.
So, my sophomore year after I got injured, I was put in a state I wouldn’t say depressed, but like I ain’t going to lie. I didn’t have the I didn’t have a passion for the game that I have right now. I always love football, but I feel like once you see something eye to eye and you feel like you want a future for something, you see it as a goal. Like I didn’t set any goals for football at that time. And I feel like that was God telling me something like, you know, like reflect about this, you know, and I remember like this so vivid. I remember um when I got hurt, I cried, but only reason I cried is cuz I didn’t play that season.
Like I didn’t have a goal again. So I didn’t really mentally I didn’t really care cuz well again when you have a goal for something you really care about something to get there, right? So I was like, “Okay, I’m hurt.” But like, you know, it is what it is. I’m thinking I’ll never get recruited because I don’t really know. Again, I don’t know the recruitment process. So, you know, I get injured and it was a week after my dad um hooked up with my his one of his closest friends here, his brother-in-law, something like that. They hooked up went to a LSU–Texas A&M game, my first college football game. It was at A&M and I remember all this is so this is so vivid.
I I went there and I sat there. It was um it was a blackout game. It was two years ago. Kairen Lacy missed the first game Marsha Marsha Reed’s ever played in first game. So, it’s his freshman year, so we’re watching the game and like that like just getting there, it was like so much people. I was just like stargazed. I was like, “No way this like this game, this football game could like really bring so much notice to people. Like it can bring people together, make people just like want to come here, tailgate.” Like this this this like amazed me. Like this made me fall in love with SEC football and like it’s big-time football in general.
And you know at the game it’s just so loud likeA&M like this being 30 minutes away from my house I was like man I just want to go here like this is my dream or in general just to play big time football like so much people the towers waving and like just shaking like the stadium was literally shaking I’m telling you like what’s it called I don’t know if it was nmire it was one of the quarterbacks he couldn’t even call a play like it was so loud I just fell in love with the game right then and there and it was so late to say I you know it was so late cuz you know this like two years ago to say I like finally like fell in love with the game, but like no, I fell in love with college football like right then and there.
Like I told my dad like I want to play here likeA&M it was my dream school and you know so weird how God moved in weird ways. Guess guess the only offer I didn’t have from Texas. I had every offer in Texas. Guess what offer I didn’t have? Texas A&M. I did not till this day Texas A&M has not offered. I don’t have Texas A&M. That’s so weird. God moving weird ways. I don’t have Texas A&M. And I told my dad I was I’m going to go here. And I remember right when I put that blue hat on, I was like, “Wait, what’s the biggest stadium in college football though?” Isn’t that crazy? What’s the big I think the biggest mass crowd it was like 100. I searched it up.
I think it is Michigan is up there. Yeah, Michigan is the for as far as college football, college athletics, it’s the largest stadium. It seats it seats like over I think 109,000 but I think they pack in close to like 115,000 like it’s it’s so that’s weird. I just realized that too. I thought about that yesterday. I was like the only offer I don’t have isA&M. That’s my dream school. Like literally like they came four time like I’m not like trying to ego but like I’m like I think I’m number four or number maybe two DB in the state of Texas. I was like that’s crazy. That’s God telling me something though. Maybe it wasn’t for me. Right. Hey, that’s that’s how it happens, man.
That’s kind of what happened with uh with Blake Corum as well. Blake Corum grew up uh an Ohio State fan and he they did not uh offer him and by the time they offered him, it was kind of too late. He was already committed to Michigan and he went on to have an amazing career at University of Michigan and had some amazing games against Ohio State. So, who knows, man. he might be playing against Texas A&M in the big house before before it’s all over and said. So, but yeah, man. I mean, that’s a that’s that’s incredible, man.
I want to talk to you about the recruiting process because you talked earlier about not really enjoying it because it kind of it kind of came on like really um like a lot like to get that many offers in in that short a span of time uh is is a lot. Uh, how were you able to kind of manage that process and kind of going through that? Manage it. I feel like um obviously Lucas, my agent, he’s played a big factor in that. My parents being supporters, you know, just trying trying to just do what’s best for me. I feel like just always getting better though.
Like I feel like wherever you go, I’m obviously fit wise that like all that, but if you’re if you’re that guy, you going to you going to be good anywhere, you know? Unless like you’re not getting enough playing time. I like, you know, like if I just keep working, if I just keep doing what I’m doing, I know wherever I go is going to be a great fit. And that that was my mentality before cuz like all the places I did were talking to. I’m not going to say like they weren’t the best fit, but like they weren’t a place where I always had doubt if that made sense. And you know, this decision you don’t want to have doubt with if that makes sense.
I’m going put a school I was like Texas like I love Austin. I love co I love everyone but but it’s Texas. They like they like to put five stars on the field, take them off. They don’t they don’t they don’t they just taste like stars if that makes sense. You know, they just do a lot of flashy stuff. And I love Texas like for sure, but it was always a butt with every school. Like every school was a butt. Like I But you know, but Michigan it was there’s no butts on the cold but that’s not really you know the cold that’s a butt.
But you know, but I feel like that decision made me happy cuz like this probably the first decision I haven’t had a but like but there’s no you know I’m trying to find one like maybe the cold obviously the cold is one but there is none. So probably definitely that trying to find the best decision at that time. Obviously, Michigan came late, so that’s why it was really hard in general, you know. But yeah, there there maybe a school that was up there. There there’s there’s any schools up there. I I can’t even like say notre Dame is like Michigan, but they can’t I wouldn’t have picked that. Nah, I don’t even know where Notre Dame is. Don’t Don’t offend me. I don’t.
Let’s talk about you as a as a as a as a player. Like, what is Michigan getting out of you as a as a player? Let’s let’s talk about your game. Who do you model your game after? Uh Kamari Lassiter. I feel like for me, I’m I could be seen in different ways. I could be seen as a big DB. I’m very physical in terms of that. Again, it’s my first year playing DB. So that tape you saw, like I’m a younger DB. I feel like that just amazes me like in general. Like I have so much growth. You know, JG, he’s an older coach, so like he could just like help me develop in general. And that room like first first visit I’ve ever been to.
like they they’ve just like welcomed me as like I’m actually on the team and I just feel like as a player like to be able to get along with your teammates not even knowing them for like one minute is really cool. Like how they just welcome me. I just liked it. So as a player I feel like y’all would get like a hard worker cuz I just like anything I do like just like my dad like he goes to work every day. Like he he don’t like it. Like he don’t like it but he don’t do it cuz he just has to like for the family. Like my mom too, she don’t like going to work but it’s just something she does just to provide for us.
And I feel like in general, me being from like a nice area, I feel like it’s kind of worked off for my dad. What you said earlier, like he’s not from the best place, but if he just keeps working, it’s going to be it’s going to be cool. It’s going to be great. My mom too, she from Amarillo is not really a great place either. But Houston now, she in a great city. She got kids. She got all this around her. I feel like that foundation for me just always just hard workers being around them just that mentality just like I just carries. My sister too, she trying to be a doctor. She working hard too.
So, everyone in the household, I just get it from all of them just to work hard. That’s awesome, man. Let’s talk about this DB recruiting class that you guys that you’re coming in with. So, you got you uh Tvaris Harrington, Darius Johnson, and uh my old teammate Charles Woodson, his son is committed. This is probably one of the best DB classes I’ve seen in a while because you guys are all long, tall, speedy. You guys got I I have to say one of the things I looked at was um you guys’ footwork and for you guys to be such young guys. You guys have some of the best footwork I’ve seen in in a while. How excited are you to be joining this defensive back recruiting class?
Are you guys kind of talking? Do y’all got your own little chat group going on? Anything? We do have a group chat indeed. And um Tarver, I love Tarver. He’s very cool. Again, again, me being a kid from the south, he takes me well cuz I’m I’m not disrespectful, but I don’t respect anything that goes on in the north. So, I was telling him like, “Where you from?” He He I think he’s from Chicago. I’m right from Chicago. So, I’m acting like I don’t know what I don’t know anything up there. So, he was like, “What are you talking about, bro?” I was like, “I don’t know, man.” Like, there’s nothing. He was like He was just saying stuff I didn’t get. But that’s my guy, though.
I like I like Tvaris. Cool guy, you know? I love Tarvaris. Have not met Daryus yet. We talk we talking. He’s They seem cool. like the quarterback Cam if I’m saying his name right. His name Cam quarterback Smooth. They’re really cool. Charles Wilson. He’s cool. I know. I knew I was going to commit. I already told him I was tapped in. And they’re they’re they’re all cool. Like for sure. I’m excited. I just want to I’m the recruiter. So if you don’t know, I’m I’m the recruiter. I’m recruiting everyone this weekend. We got um some kid from up north. I think he’s from Jersey. He’s coming this weekend. I’ve been texting him. Marcus Jones, Josh Dobson, Suki Souk. I’m recruiting all three of those kids.
I feel like out of three of them, I already said this on the article. I said, um, I feel like Josh Josh gonna make the move and Larry. Larry’s coming. Larry Moon. So Larry’s my guy. Larry’s my We’re actually close. I actually know Larry. Yeah, Larry. Um, it’s funny because Larry plays a lot of seven on seven. They say he look just like me. Larry does look just like me. Larry Moon looks just like me. Josh, that’s my guy, too. Josh is my guy. But Marcus, I don’t know, but we gonna have to get him. I don’t know. We gonna have to get him. I gotta set up a car or something. And Suk is playing. Souk is playing. Souk is playing.
He just went on a visit to Ohio State. Hopefully do them wrong and commit to Michigan. Let’s go. We need him, man. We need Souk. So, yeah, that’s the goal for sure. Blake, is there a a game that if we pulled up the film that you would say is kind of like the the best representation of of of your style of play, right? Like, is there a play or a game? Um, like if I was to say, “Hey, listen. And I want you guys to check out Blake Jenkins. What would that game be? If you’re a real football fan, if you’re a real football fan, you might see it, you might see it different, but it’s his play. It was Jordan game. We lost.
We didn’t really have a good season, but I felt like that boosted my confidence in general cuz the type of plays I made throughout all the season. You can look at my film. I’m just hungry. I just want to make a plate, you know? I just I just want I just want to I just want to go like you know I just want to go out there and go I don’t know I don’t know no other way cuz at corner like you can see in my film a lot of coach said like I don’t have a good form attack I just th I throw my not throw my body but I just really just go I’m not explaining so that represent that play it was Jordan game it was a screen route the guy can’t block me he didn’t want to block me no more he want to block I I didn’t I didn’t block and I could block and ran through bro I you can watch it I just ran through bro and knocked him into the like the receiver.
The receiver tripped, my team got him, threw the guy down. I’m punching on bro down. Threw him to the ground. Ended the play over. He didn’t block me no more. Now Blake, you know, last game of the season is always a big game against Ohio State. Yes, sir. And and let me tell you, you going to always be matched up with one of the top receivers in the country because one thing Ohio State does well is recruit wide receivers. And it’s always some five star. Might be multiple five stars. It’s always going to come down. That is a money game for a defensive back. Are you ready for that game? I’m I’m ready for anything. It don’t matter. Five star, four star, three star, two star, one star.
It don’t matter to be honest. You know, actually I got a close friend that goes not close friend but a guy I look up to. I train with him. He knows me. Devin Sanchez. I love Deon. That’s that’s the that’s one of those dudes I train with with Jakori. like those made me a better corner cuz just looking at him like looking at him like like how he work out. I remember I was training with Jakory. I had offers and um I had a lot of offers but I didn’t have any big offers. I remember I was on the phone with him and this is um seven’s game.
I didn’t want to play cuz my shoulder it was aching me and it and he was like bro if you’re not injured go play. Like I feel like he was like you only getting one season. You only get one junior season. Like play injured but you’re good because make sure after you you good. I remember that that piece of advice he gave me just playing while you’re dealing with adversity in general. Your team is doing bad, you know. I just want to quit. But he Tommy was like, “Bro, don’t quit because like, bro, I’m telling you, you want them big offers.” I I didn’t have those big offers. I had like 20 offers at the time. He was like, “You want them big offers. You want all that stuff.
They going they want to see you play.” And that piece of advice, it worked. It really did. So now I’m gonna be playing against him. So yeah, that’s advice Devin gave me for sure. I see him as a role model for sure. And I’m ready for the game for sure. Always. I like it. I like it, man. Well, let’s talk a little bit life after sports, man. I know you’re you’re a very intelligent intelligent kid. You got a what, a 3.3 GPA. Um, might be even higher. But, uh, let’s talk about life after football, man. What do you want to do once it’s time to hang up the cleats and put up the helmet? Uh, right now I want to go into sports management. Again, that’s why I picked Michigan.
a a good reason that I’ve bought life for sure and also the path they can lead me on to it because for me I just like the major I like what it can present what I’ve seen before and they I’ve met so many people that went to Michigan and they own so many social media accounts saying they’re in sports management and for me it like confuses me but also I can gain more knowledge like there’s these two two twins you might know them they go to Michigan and they shoot these Tik Tok they interview people you might know them and I met them I met them at the tournament this weekend and they were like Um yeah, we we major in that too. I was like for real.
It was like, “Yeah, sports management like it it it’s leads to so much stuff and I like being on um social media about sports. I like talking to people. I just like doing it.” And that that was my field. So I was like, if it’s a field, I like it and I just want to learn more about it. So that’s why that’s that’s my I don’t have a significant, you know, I want to do that. I just know my major and I want to learn off of it. Does that make sense? We’re going to do we’re going to finish up with a kind of a top five rapid fire. Okay, you ready? Yes, sir. Yes, sir. What song is getting heavy rotation on your playlist right now? NBA.

Any seafood that people don’t like. Oysters or pralines. Any seafood like that people really don’t like. I like lobster. Like it’s so much stuff in Louis. You’re from Louis.
