Doug Cohen

Doug Cohen grew up in a football family and dreamed of wearing the Maize and Blue after watching his older brothers play college football: Jeff at Michigan (1979-1983) and Dan at Eastern Michigan (1980-1984). His dad Dave played at Brockport State Teachers College (now SUNY Brockport) as well as in the Navy (he also played against Jim Brown in high school).

His mom Sylvia never quite got used to the game but was always there supporting her boys. So when Doug was invited to walk-on as an outside linebacker after helping captain the North Farmington Raiders to a division championship, it wasn’t a “decision” at all. He was on the team for two straight Big Ten Championships as a player and continued as part of the team after a career ending knee injury with the strength and conditioning staff under the legend Mike Gittleson and helped out with the film crew and recruiting. Michigan was 4-0 against TTDS while Doug was there and were Big Ten Champions every year.

Doug is the founder of M10 Social and co-owner of Frameable Faces Photography with his wife Ally. He is the lead singer for Vintage Playboy  and blogs about music, history and digital marketing at the M10 Social website.

Doug & Ally have two kids: Lacey who graduated from Michigan and has her MFA in creative writing and publishing from Long Island University in Brooklyn - she writes the “This Week At Hail Media” Substack Newsletter. Tony graduated from Michigan State and yes, he’s a Spartan. But he still has plenty of love for Michigan, wore maize and blue and cheered his ass off in Houston at the National Championship game in January ’04. He also played football and lacrosse for Bloomfield Hills High School (his lacrosse coach was former Wolverine football captain and assistant coach Jerry Meter).

Chris Howard

Christopher Howard is a former University of Michigan football player who helped lead the Wolverines to an undefeated season and a share of the National Championship during his senior year. Following Michigan, he spent time in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders before transitioning into media, entertainment, and entrepreneurship.

After retiring from football, Howard began his media career at Fox Sports Net, booking news feeds and developing highlight scripts. In 2002, he founded Prominent Enterprises, a boutique public relations and branding firm focused on professional athletes and emerging entertainment talent.

In 2005, Howard partnered with Peter Roach of The Pembroke Group and Terence Richards of Quickplay Media to launch Media Focus Group (MFG), a media and entertainment finance company specializing in creating investment opportunities in studio films for institutional and high-net-worth investors. MFG co-produced and co-financed the feature film The Perfect Game starring Clifton Collins Jr. and Cheech Marin.

In 2009, Howard founded Mosaic Entertainment Group, a television production company focused on unscripted and sports-driven storytelling. Through Mosaic, he produced the reality television series The Express Way with Dulé Hill, further expanding his work in talent-driven unscripted programming. His projects and concepts have also been developed, optioned, or partnered with leading production companies and networks including Authentic Entertainment, GRB Studios, Brian Graden Media, Nancy Glass Productions, Calico, Sony Television and HGTV.

Today, Howard is the Co-founder of Hail Media Group, an athlete-led digital media network dedicated to amplifying the voices, stories, and legacy of former University of Michigan athletes. Through original programming, podcasts, documentaries, and social-first content, Hail Media Group has rapidly emerged as a powerful independent media platform, generating millions of organic impressions while building authentic connections with one of the largest alumni and fan bases in college athletics.

Howard is a media entrepreneur and storyteller with expertise spanning sports media, entertainment finance, digital content strategy, and television production. His work sits at the intersection of culture, sports, and storytelling—creating platforms that empower athletes to own and monetize their narratives.
